Palazzo Pants

I just bought my first pair of flawy pants, also known as Palazzo Pants. And in the spirit of this fashion statement I wanted to search out some options of where else they have been popping up, and what to wear them with...

YSL
Blake Lively

They are popping up everywhere but I think the fit is everything!
I got mine for a steal, compared to the brand name prices, at Lavish and Squalor in Toronto.

Fun Things to do all over Toronto!

HAPPY SATURDAY! and HAPPY CARIBANA!
even though I once lived in the Caribbean, this will be my first Caribana Festival. And Toronto has the biggest in the world! so it seems like a good place to start my experience. I will post pictures after the weekend is over and let you know all about the fun.
If you are looking for more info check out:
Caribana Toronto 2011

This site is so fantastic to find fashion districts.
You are able to search by area or search for a certain store and get pictures and a whole review.
Like this with Lost and Found in Dundas West.

Or go watch a movie outdoors for free @ TO Summer Movies

And with only 1 month left you better get to it!

Outfit #2

NEW YORK is coming up soon and I can't wait. I am trying to plan all my outfits before hand so that I make sure I don't need to pack my whole wardrobe in order to guarantee that I am stylish every minute I am there.

I like crop tops but this was the first one that I felt comfortable in since the shorts were high enough (without being highwaisted) to pretty much reach the bottom of the shirt and not show off my tummy. And this is saying something considering my torso is long.
ps. sunglasses always in summer.
but I can never find ones that really look good on my face! need help with that.

-beige crop top with floppy pocket on the bottom left corner and 1/3 length sleeves, it is kind of a thicker material but as you can see it lets air through and fits really lose
(H&M)
What are your thoughts on crop tops??

-Black short shorts
H&M ($10 i think)
I love these partly because I hate when shorts are expensive

-Aldo shoes ($80) - strappy sandals with the smallest hint of a heel
These are also a favourite shoe purchase and work for so many occasions fancy or casual

-Urban Outfitters Clutch
-Purple slate necklace that I switched to a longer chain (bought at Edmonton Folk Fest)
-Large hoop earrings with floral printed cloth wrapped around (these are the first hoop earrings I ever bought and though I bought them as is, it is a great idea if you're not so into the big gold hoop style anymore but still keep them in your jewelry box)

It has an uneven seem that is shorter in the front/longer in the back and see through below a black slip.
A cheap brown braided belt.

Handmade feather earrings and book necklace.
I should find some bracelets and rings to fit into the outfit.

My favorite summer purchase. Skin coloured Steve Madden sandals.

style

My favourite Jewelery:
I have heard a lot about feather hair extensions and am seeing more and more feather earrings in the stores. I think that Feather hair extensions can be worn really well but I haven't taken the initiative to try it yet and have instead relied on these. But I am quite proud of my style initaitive since I bought my first pair over a year ago.

I wasnt sure at first about having the different
sides no matching but have received tons of compliments

these are my longest pair and they flow wonderfully
my newest ring from a little antique store
said swarovski crystal but I'm not so sure

My amazingly talented friend made this book. Each one
has a different picture (mine is a peacock feather) and certain
letters are larger in order to form a word (mines courage)
Jewelry that I am excited to Make:

can't wait to buy some nuts so I can make both of these

Wish I had a shirt I could cut up but the patterns
are on V and Co.'s wonderful blog

Jewelery I would love to own:

I used to own a spoon ring similar to this but lost it!
I plan on making one out of my family's antique cutlery pieces.
